Introduction

Organic India is an Ayurvedic wellness brand, best known for its Tulsi herbal teas and its range of organic herbal supplements. Its teas and supplements are certified organic and made from herbs grown in India, and the brand is part of Tata Consumer Products.

In the UK, Organic India sells direct to consumers through organic-india.co.uk, with a focused range of seven Tulsi tea blends and ten supplements, including ashwagandha, turmeric and psyllium husk.

Challenges

Organic India came to us in late 2024 to build demand and recognition for its UK online store, at a time when the brand was still new to many UK shoppers. The creative had to introduce a heritage Ayurvedic brand to a crowded wellness market, and to do it within UK rules on what can be said about herbal products.

Strategic Approach

Between late 2024 and mid-2026, we focused on:

  1. Ritual and Heritage Over Claims:
We built the tea creative around calm daily rituals and flavour, through routes such as Yoga in a Cup and a taste-of-India gifting idea. Every concept went through compliance checks, so supplement messaging centred on ingredients and traditional use rather than health claims.

  2. UGC From Our Team and Creators:
We scripted and filmed UGC in-house and briefed external creators, including a couple trying the Tulsi range for the first time now it was available in the UK. Many videos were cut into several opening hooks, so the strongest first seconds could be tested against each other.

  3. A Monthly Deliverables Plan:
From September 2025, a shared plan set out each month’s routes by product, angle, format and audience. It covered seasonal ideas, bundle offers and a set of audience-led UGC for ashwagandha, psyllium, turmeric and joint care.

  4. Paid Media, Store and Social Together:
We ran Meta and Google Ads across Performance Max, Shopping and Search, redesigned the UK Shopify store, and managed organic content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok alongside the paid activity.

Over the engagement, the work gave Organic India a steady flow of creative and a stronger home for it online:

  • Over 40 Concepts Signed Off: We delivered more than 40 signed-off ad concepts for Meta and Google, split between over 20 static routes and over 20 video and UGC routes, most with several hooks or formats each.
  • A Redesigned UK Store: In summer 2025 we redesigned organic-india.co.uk, with new homepage, product and education pages. We then designed landing pages for the Wellness Trio bundle, turmeric and ashwagandha, a reusable ingredient page template and an ingredient library for the range.
  • Always-On Organic Social: Between January and April 2026 alone, we planned and scheduled 59 organic posts, mixing tea rituals, outdoor moments and simple ingredient explainers.
  • Two Stand-Out Ads: Across April 2025 to March 2026, our year-end summary named the Yoga in a Cup UGC and the What’s Inside supplement statics as the two stand-out Meta ads, with click-through rates of 3.08% and 3.21%.

Conclusion

Organic India needed to introduce a heritage Ayurvedic brand to UK shoppers without leaning on health claims. We built the work around ritual, flavour and ingredients, and gave the brand a redesigned store and a broad library of creative to build on.

This project drew on our video and motion design, paid social, search marketing, organic social, web design and ecommerce marketing services. See more of our work.
