From Two Founders to an Employee-Owned Agency
Favoured kicked off in 2019 when George Sharpe, fresh from his Apple days, and Andy Willers, with BBC expertise tucked under his belt, decided that the digital marketing world needed a serious shake-up. Their mission? Create a digital marketing agency that truly delivers on its promises.
What started as a two-person operation has evolved into a powerhouse team of specialists. Our journey hasn’t always been smooth sailing, but our commitment to cutting through the digital nonsense and delivering genuine results has never wavered.
In 2025, we took a bold step forward by becoming an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), putting the future of Favoured directly in the hands of those who make it special – our team. This transition wasn’t just a business decision; it was a statement about our values and our commitment to long-term success.

Our Kumo office setup is a personal fave too, who knew virtual offices could be so cute?”

From implementing new processes to supporting our incredible team, I wear many hats and every day brings a fresh challenge to tackle. My favourite memory was our first-ever team trip – especially the team Come Dine With Me! I feel like at Favoured we’ve got something unique; genuine friendships with hard work and that’s what makes this a great place to be.”

“Hey! I’m Rose, One of the Account Managers at Favoured, I’ve also worked at Favoured as a Copywriter and have been a part of the Engagement, Conversion and Retention Team – so I’ve been around! My job as an Account Manager is to manage client relationships and build creative strategies. With clients like concierge apps and mindfulness apps to mattress toppers and SME banks – you never know what is around the corner! Fun fact: I won a bake off competition alongside Danielle, Anna and Polly – we recreated Danielle’s pup “Pickle” It was a masterpiece and rather delicious. One of the best things about working here is how we stay connected as a remote team. We always share what we’re working on, and it’s a great way to stay in the loop. Like the time Polly accidentally broke her bed filming UGC (yes, really). I love working with this group of legends, and the team is what really makes Favoured what it is. Never a dull moment!”

My days are filled with emails, filming TikToks, managing client projects, and even more emails. A couple of highlights since joining include flying to Malta for a team trip boat party just a week in, and breaking my bed mid-UGC shoot – just another day at the office! I’m super grateful to work with such a talented group of people who work hard, support each other, and manage to have a lot of fun in the process.”

One of my best memories is my first trip to meet the team in Barcelona. It turns out they weren’t so scary after all! I horse ride regularly, learning the basics of dressage, along with hitting the gym and plenty of walks!”

One of my favourite weekly moments is our Friday afternoon Chill n’ Chinwag — a chance for the whole team to unwind, catch up, and play games like ‘guess the drawing’. It somehow always turns competitive in the funniest way possible. Even though we work remotely, there’s a real sense of connection and energy here. It’s the mix of collaboration, support, and good vibes that really sets Favoured apart.”

With 7+ years in marketing from Australia to Dubai I’ve seen a lot, but nothing beats working with this remote dream team. Funniest (or most tragic?) memory: getting severe seasickness on our surprise team boat trip… let’s just say I won’t be booking a cruise anytime soon, but I will be remembered.
